What is the Driver Cpc ?

The Lgv driver Cpc Module 4 came into effect 0n the 10 th September 2009. The purpose is to ensure all newly qualified hgv drivers were able to carry out a variety of operations and duties other than just driving, These duties are legal,social and enviromental requirements.

Do I Need Driver Cpc ?

If you are going to be driving a vehicle over 3500 kg for hire or reward then the answer is yes !

However currently the Nhs, Council,Police,Fireservice are excempt from requiring the Cpc.

You will be comitting an offence if you drive without holding the Cpc qualification for payment.

Before you can book your Mod 4 training and test you must first have passed the Mod 2 case study theory test.

This can be taken at the same time as the Lgv multiple choice and hazard perception theory tests at your local centre.

The module 4 driver Cpc Test is a practical demonstration test where you are tested to ensure you have competent understanding of how to keep yourself and vehicle safe.

Demostrating Safe loading, Vehicle Security, Border Security, Emergency Situations and Preventing Physical Risk. You will need to demonstrate your understanding of your daily maintenance checks by carrying out a walk around vehicle safety check.

The test is made up of these 5 topics from the Driver CPC syllabus. You can score up to 20 points for each topic. To pass you have to score at least 15 in each topic but 80 points overall is required to pass,

If you are going to be driving for private use only, eg a motorhome or a horsebox for your own horses you do not require driver cpc.

The Training

Training and test will be conducted at our approved Dvsa site in Farnborough, With good links to the M3 it proves to be an ideal location with clients coming from Surrey, hampshire, Berkshire and London.

Training and test will be conducting on the same day and can be arranged at short notice as independant providers we can offer flexibility to accomodate your requirements.

Mod 4 training and test is a set price of just £250,00 to include test fee !

Hgv C1, C1 +E Driver training, The Hgv |Lgv C1 [ 7.5 tonne ] Test is available to clients from Hampshire - Surrey - Berkshire who need to drive lorries up to 7.5 tonne. we can also train our clients in the C1+e catagory which allows the towing of trailers up to 4500kg,
